Visitors
Policy
Drew Memorial Hospital's
purpose is to promote the health and well being of South Arkansas residents.
In accordance with this mission, the staff of DMH has developed a Visitors
Policy to insure a quiet, restful, healing atmosphere for our patient's
quick recovery. While family support is recognized as a necessity of the
healing process, a good night's sleep is crucial.
What is the Policy?
You are welcome
to have two guests in your room during regular visiting hours (10:00
am - 8:30 pm). A parent or guardian must stay in the room with a child
under 12 years of age at all times.
Are Children Allowed
to Visit?
No. To protect both
your child and our patients, children under age 12 are not permitted

in the front lobby waiting room.

in length provided visitors may be asked to leave when patient care
is being hindered by their presence or when the patient is being disturbed.
What about Overnight

What about the
Emergency Room?
ER patients may
have one visitor at a time due to limited space and they may be asked
