Our Purpose

The Southeast Arkansas Health Foundation, formed in 1992, serves as an avenue through which people can financially support the endeavors of Drew Memorial Hospital to provide state-of-the-art medical equipment and quality medical care for the people of Drew County and Southeast Arkansas.  Gifts to the Foundation enable us to enhance and improve the healthcare services provided by Drew Memorial Hospital through facility improvements, equipment purchases, services and scholarships.  The Foundation relies on the generosity of donors to maintain a distinguished standard of excellence within the medical community.

A 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, the Foundation is the uniting entity for our generous friends, assuring hope for the future of quality medical services for the citizens of Drew County and Southeast Arkansas.

2016 Areas of Need

As Drew Memorial Hospital embarks on major expansion and renovation projects, individuals and businesses have an opportunity to invest in the future of healthcare in our region.  The Foundation has targeted three areas of need for 2016.  These projects are as follows:

  • The Surgery Center expansion project, breaking ground in 2016

Ways to Give

Your gift to the Southeast Arkansas Health Foundation has never been more important.  Gifts to the Foundation are used to help fund life-saving medical technology, expansion of healthcare facilities, and scholarships for students who are dedicating their careers to saving lives. You can be a part of providing quality healthcare by supporting the Southeast Arkansas Health Foundation.

We offer many different opportunities for giving.  A few opportunities are outlined below:

Memorials & Honorariums - A memorial gift to the Foundation offers a special way to express your sympathy and condolences, and honor gifts can be made for any and all occasions.  When you give an honor or memorial gift, the honoree or deceased's family will receive an acknowledgement letter.  The letter will not disclose the amount of your gift.

When sending memorial or honor gifts, note whether the gift is in memory or honor of someone and to whom we should send the acknowledgement letter.  Please indicate both the name and address.  You will receive a receipt for your tax-deductible contribution.

Cash Gifts - Gifts by check, cash or payroll deduction are welcome at any time.  Every contribution is used as directed by the donor.  You may choose to have your gift designated for a specific project or it may go into the general fund to be used where most needed.

Non-Cash Gifts - Individuals and families may wish to contribute to the Foundation by making a non-cash gift by donating property or by naming the Foundation as the beneficiary of an insurance policy, trust or will.

Gifts of any amount help tremendously and are greatly appreciated.  To make a donation, simply mail your contribution to the address below:
