Services provided are:

Home Health Services

• Skilled Nursing Services - RN's and LPN's are permitted to go into the patient's home and provide nursing services, such as, wound care, injections, IV's, teaching patients and caregivers, perform venipunctures for blood analysis, and a variety of other skilled services.


A Nurse is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.


• Therapy Services allow licensed therapists in the field of physical, speech, or occupational therapy to perform rehabilitative activities in the patient's home. This permits the patient to realize his or her maximum potential.


• Home Health Aides are skilled aides with the ability to take and record vital signs, assist with simple exercises as directed by the nurses or therapists. The home health aide plays an important part in the care of the home health patient.

Personal Care Services (limited service area)

• Personal Care: A Certified Nursing Assistant helps with bathing and activities of daily living.


• Homemaker: A Homemaker Aide assists with basic upkeep and management of the patient’s home and household assistance such as laundry, essential shopping, errands, and meal preparations.


• Respite: Respite Care is temporary relief for family members or others who may stay with homebound patients. A Certified Aide can provide family or others time away from the patient by staying with the patient during the caregiver’s absence. Respite can be provided up to 8 hour a day.


• Carelink: A Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) provided by Drew Memorial Hospital. This is a 24-hour electronic alarm system that enables the elderly, infirm, or homebound individual to secure immediate help in the event of physical, emotional or environmental emergencies.
