Health Hero of The Year

Irma Brunson, a phlebotomist in the lab was named as Drew Memorial Health Hero of the Year for 2010.

 

Irma went above and beyond the call of duty when she took it upon herself to go to a patient's home and care for them when they could not come into the hospital due to sickness.

 

Along with a plaque comemorating the award Mrs Brunson received a bouqet of a dozen roses and a check for $600.00.

 

The Health Hero of the Year is chosen annually from a list of employees who have demonstated care above and beyond the call of duty.
